Sponsor a Puppy...Transform a Life!!

Support Dogs provide specially trained assistance dogs to help with everyday tasks for people with physical disabilities, give advanced warning of seizures for people with epilepsy and provide safety and companionship for children with autism. Support Dogs receives no government funding and rely on donations, sponsorship and fundraising to continue our work, training dogs to transform lives.
When our puppies arrive, they are placed with volunteer puppy walkers who, under the guidance of our trainers, will attend weekly puppy classes, start the foundations of their socialization programme and begin to learn basic obedience commands.

At approximately 14 months of age, the puppies will be ready to attend our training centre on a daily basis. Here, they will learn basic obedience and simple task work. After this period, the young dog will be directed to the programme for which they show the most potential and they will begin their advanced training.

Once they have reached the standard that is required of an assistance dog, they will be partnered with a suitable applicant, specifically trained to meet their needs and will eventually become a fully qualified assistance dog.

For as little as £1 per week you can help to transform the lives of adults and children affected by Physical Disabilities, Epilepsy and Autism.
