Vets Sign up for Charity Fun Run

TWO veterinary surgeons are lacing up their running shoes for the second time in as many months to raise money for Support Dogs.
Beth Sweeney, aged 26, and Fran Cummins, 23, of Springfield Veterinary Groups, are running the Worksop half marathon on October 28.
Beth said: “The first thing we decided to tackle was the Stocksbridge Chase 10k back in September.
“But then we sort of got carried away with the entire thing and decided to go the whole hog and do the half marathon too!”
Springfield, which has eight practices around South Yorkshire, provides veterinary care for Support Dogs trains, which provides animals to help ease the lives of disabled people.
